EcoloPharm is a pioneering pharmaceutical packaging manufacturer based in Chambly, Quebec, Canada. Founded in 2009 by Sandrine Milante, the company was the first in its industry to integrate eco-design principles into medication packaging. Its mission is to create solutions that are both environmentally responsible and operationally efficient for pharmacies.

EcoloPharm specializes in eco-designed compliance packaging, ointment jars, and prescription vials. Its products are engineered to use less plastic, generate fewer greenhouse gas emissions, and require less energy to manufacture. This deliberate reduction in resource use lies at the heart of the company’s innovative approach. Today, more than 4,500 pharmacies across Canada rely on EcoloPharm’s solutions.

Among its most significant innovations is the development of EcoloVial, the first prescription vial with an integrated cap, molded as a single piece. This breakthrough design requires only one production line instead of three, uses up to 35% less plastic than conventional vials, and maximizes recyclability.

EcoloPharm is a certified B Corporation, reflecting its commitment to the highest verified standards of environmental performance, transparency, governance, and social impact.

By combining sustainability with practical functionality, EcoloPharm is redefining pharmaceutical packaging: delivering measurable value while helping build a more efficient and environmentally responsible healthcare system.
