Introduction
The Global Academic Leaders Forum (GALF) 2026 session aims to explore how pharmacy education can contribute to response to global health challenges adopting the One Health approach. The session seeks to provide reflections on strategies to bridge science and practice in education to achieve curricula that delivers relevant competences to prepare future-ready pharmacists. The session plan is developed to stimulate global academic collaboration and to put a spotlight on intelligence available from FIP-UNITWIN centres.

1. Reflect on the implications for pharmacy education of the One Health paradigm
2. â Explore strategic educational responses that bridge science, practice and policy
3. â Discuss academic leadership action plans to drive transformation and global response

Academic leadership teams can critically examine implications, reflect on actions to transformation of academic programmes to ensure future-ready pharmacy graduates that can respond to global challenges in the pharmaceutical and health ecosystems.
