Theme: “One Health, One Pharmacy – Bridging science, practice and education”
Subtheme 1: Integrated health
Pharmacy advancing well-being through a One Health approach
This subtheme highlights how pharmacists apply the One Health concept in practice—addressing interconnected challenges across human, environmental and system levels. Through science, education and patient care, sessions will explore real-world examples of how global principles are adapted to local realities—whether combating antimicrobial resistance, strengthening medicine supply systems, responding to climate-sensitive health risks, or improving public health. This subtheme will focus on how pharmacy drives integrated, people-centred solutions that are both context-specific and globally informed.
Subtheme 2: Innovating with purpose
Driving change through science, education and practice
Innovation in pharmacy is most impactful when it leads to measurable improvements in health. This subtheme explores how purposeful advances—whether through new care models, scientific discoveries, educational methods or technology—can shape the future of pharmacy. Sessions will highlight practical approaches that improve patient safety, expand access to care, and build workforce capability. Special emphasis will be given to innovations that responds to local needs and regional priorities, and the role of education in equipping pharmacists to lead transformation across sectors.
Subtheme 3: Collaborating for equity
Strengthening global impact through partnerships and inclusion
This subtheme focuses on how pharmacists and pharmacy stakeholders can drive progress towards health equity through collaboration and inclusive practices. Sessions will highlight initiatives that address disparities in care, workforce distribution, access to medicines and health education—whether through interprofessional partnerships, community engagement or inclusive service models. By showcasing locally, regionally and globally driven efforts, this subtheme aims to inspire practical strategies for building more resilient health systems with pharmacy at the core.
